Great feel

This is a very unique game. I'm playing through it now, and so far it's been very entertaining.

The music gives it a good vibe. It's very playable and easy to pick up, and pretty fun to play.

It's very simplistic, which is fine. Except some things like the basic-looking levels (squares everywhere, everything on a grid) and the very animated avatar, don't seem to match. The physics are sketchy, though the worst this does is add some challenge.

This was a nice little game. More detail and features like save game or choose level would greatly improve it, but as a quick flash game it's fine. Good job.

Grade-A

This is the best flash I've played in a very, very long time. Over the period of a few days I eventually beat this, and I'm very impressed. This was very challenging.

I can't compare you to the Valve "Portal", though I'm planning on getting the Orange Box soon, so judged by the standards simply of that of a game, this is excellent. I truly had fun, and a pretty good smug satisfaction after I beat it.

Couple bugs I saw. One, this doesn't really matter, but sometimes you'll fly through the wall above the exit door when you leave. Another, this may be on purpose, but boxes don't block the portal (trying to be vague, I don't want to give it away if it's purposeful).

Great game, great job.
Oh, and kudos on the G-Man appearance. Just saw that today :)

Touchy

It looks nice.. and the music is very cool. This is very tough in that the elevator doesn't "stick" to the floors. Meaning it's very easy to pass one up, so one has to have the elevator going slow enough.

Well, obviously it's repetitive, as you've probably heard by now :P. That's not reaelly the problem, though. I mean, people won't spend much time on these games anyway. It's very hard to see the floor numbers as you're zooming up or down, the screen gets fuzzy.

Maybe if you wanted to spice it up, you could have people saying random things, or power outages or fires. Or not, whatever. Pretty decent game, good job.

Fantastic

This game really holds my attention. I'm up to level 18, and it's still exciting. I'm a huge fan of defense games, but this takes it to a new level. Just fantastic.

My only thoughts are.. there's a dead zone in the bottom left, where enemies can shoot you but you can't aim that way. There's not enough things to buy, some power-ups or upgrades for individuals turrets would be nice. And It's be nice to see a turret's level and experience to next level. Last, the lightning cannon has a huuuge recoil, makes it almost not worth it to buy.

That said, great job.

That's one sexy game

I'm such a sucker for visually-pleasing games and movies. This is sleek, simple, and very entertaining. Fantastic work.

Definitely slow-paced

I love the look of this. It's very much like Metroid, or some other GBA game, as far as graphics go. The only thing is, it's slow and methodical like an Adventure game or an RPG, but it's still as simple as a FPS.

It's kind of like the worst of both worlds, so to speak.

Wow

This game was pretty incredible. Aside from the ingenious placements of differences, the art and scenery was powerful. Overall, it was very beautiful.

I did, after 30-ish minutes beat it. I'll confess I clicked madly once or twice. The only critique I can think (other than PLEASE make another) would be to add some music. Personally I had Kings of Convenience playing, seemed to fit nicely.

Fantastic job, Case. This was really so much more than I would have thought a "Spot The Difference" game could've been. Great work.

Ivorydrive responds:

Nice music choice. they're actually not too bad. mellow enough to indulge the creepy side of the game, but cheerful enough to make it more fun.

I was going to go with something really slow by massive attack, or nine inch nails, or even one of the creepy songs from sigur ros.

you know... if enough people keep asking for a sequel, you might actually get one...

"6 Differences" ?

Moy dificil

Aside from the fact that it's very plain, with no SFX of music, no power-ups or weapons or anything, the mechanics are unfair. The enemy pad can move much faster than the human pad, how can anyone hope to beat that?

It's a good-looking little game, however. Though it reminds me of a pop-up ad mini-game. Except here I can't win a free iPhone :P

Thanks alot..

For butchering my self-esteem :/

I had no idea it'd be so in-depth and precise, I was very surprised. A great game. There's no need to bash it just because I suck at it.. oh well. This was some great work, very ingenious.

Zelda meets Mario 64

As far as style and level selection goes. It's a fun little game. Though it does seems like I should have been playing it on a Gameboy instead. Good job.

That's cool, we'll use your heading on our promo stuff, that's a hefty comparison.

My name is Dave, and I don't animate. Deal with it.
